Our Values
Our village has a moral code and motto we say at the beginning of each learning session. It helps to set the tone of what we value and are striving to achieve as human beings. Our co-op provides more than just a checklist of learning goals; it provides an opportunity for character development.
- I will always start with Allah’s name saying, Bismillah.
- I will be attentive, paying attention to new things I learn.
- I will be respectful to elders, my classmates, and my environment.
- I will be thankful for the opportunities I have that others don’t.
- I will be patient, not giving up on my goals when things get hard.
- I will be merciful, forgiving those who may not deserve it.
- I will be kind, helping those who are younger, weaker, or who have less than I.
- I will have self-control, being in charge of my thoughts, words, and body.
- I will be a role model, following the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.
